Ganoderma lucidum extract attenuates the proliferation of hepatic stellate cells by blocking the PDGF receptor.
These results indicated that G. lucidum inhibits PDGF-BB-activated HSC proliferation possibly through blocking PDGFbetaR phosphorylation, thereby indicating its efficacy for preventing and treating hepatic fibrosis.
